This cover page contains information and allows forsubmissionof an application for Technical Topic 4B Remote Sensing ONLY.DE-PS26-05NT15600-4B Technical Topic 4B: Remote SensingResearch projects are requested to develop advanced technologies to detectandidentify 3rd party intrusion near gas line right-of-ways and facilities,detectand image metallic and non-metallic underground facilities, detect andquantifynatural gas leaks, and other pertinent applications. Remote sensing isexpectedto be associated with very mobile platforms that can cover extended regionsofthe facilities quickly. Natural gas leak detection and quantification isexpected to focus on very high altitude (>50,000 feet) applications toallowimproved, cost effective assessment.
